Yes! Our captains do work for tips, so gratuity is greatly appreciated. We suggest a 20% gratuity for our captains. They are very experienced and knowledgeable, and they work hard to provide an amazing and safe Tiki experience for our guests.

We now offer the option of boarding at our north shore location near PNC Park, or at the Marina at station square!

Our tikis are not equipped with restrooms, but our captains do make a scheduled restroom stop approximately halfway through your cruise. We strongly encourage our guests to use the restroom before boarding their cruise.

Yes, those guests intending to transport, possess, or consume alcohol during their cruise will be required to show valid identification to the captain verifying that they are 21 years of age or older. no exceptions!

Yes, there is a type 1 pfd for every passenger. along with all the coast guard requirements for the vessel including a first aid kit.

Coast Guard regulations allow only six charter customers on each tiki boat; no exceptions! However, we do have three tiki boats to accommodate groups of up to 18 people.

Yes, children thirteen years old and older are allowed, but they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. We don’t want them to miss out on a chance to cruise on a tiki boat.

The tiki boat has a cruising speed of around 4 to 6 mph.

All of our captains have been vetted, trained, and certified through the U.S. Coast Guard requirements. All our captains have been chosen based on their experience with boating and their knowledge of the area and local rivers.

Cancellations made with at least 72 hours notice of your scheduled cruise time will receive a full refund, or you will be given the option to reschedule. Cancellations made with less than 72 hours’ notice are non-refundable and non-rebookable, regardless of the reason for the cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel any tour at any time due to weather, safety, mechanical, or behavioral issues. If your tour is cancelled by us, you will be given a full refund or a rain check to rebook at another time (this excludes behavioral, along with alcohol-related, cancellations). “No shows” will not be refunded and will be charged the full price.

Yes, we do operate in the rain, as the tiki boats are covered with a thatched roof. However, the captain can decide at any time to cancel due to unsafe weather or hazardous river conditions. Our captains may “wait out” a passing heavy shower or thunderstorm.

Besides relaxing with a cold beverage, we can pretty much book anything you can imagine! from bachelorette and bachelor parties, corporate meetings, birthday parties, and special concert event charters. Yes, we have a Bluetooth-capable, four-speaker marine stereo system that can sync to your phone so you can play your choice of music.

We do not provide, sell, or serve alcoholic beverages. Guests are encouraged and welcome to bring their own coolers packed with their favorite beverages. We do not provide any other food or beverages. You are welcome to bring your favorite beverages and snacks, or you can purchase food from one of the amazing restaurants located on the North Shore or at Station Square and bring it on board with you.

There are several safe and convenient parking options available on the north shore of Pittsburgh, near the Tiki pick-up spot, or at Station Square. For suggested parking locations, go to Alco Parking North Shore or Station Square.
